A home in historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Austin was in need of an update. The owner, a local artist, was looking for a natural and subtly elegant refresh to the almost two-decade-old landscape.

This reinvigoration was achieved through the use of contrasting hardscape materials, custom furnishings, local art pieces, and adapted plantings.

The concluding design successfully complimented the neighborhood’s historic motif, while reflecting a bit of the homeowner’s unique personality back to the neighborhood
