A dated pool deck and backyard were in need of a renovation. The backyard had waterlog issues and overgrown vegetation which made the backyard feel small, dark, and uninviting. The homeowners were looking for a stylish and functional modernization of their backyard, to complement their exotic plant collection and contemporary lifestyle.

The design includes modern entertainment elements and custom focal point pieces placed throughout, to visually open up the backyard. Features shade loving plants, a hedge for privacy from neighbors, and left room for the homeowners to showcase their plant collection. The design also addressed the waterlog issue with a functional and discreet solution, redirecting water appropriately and successfully.
